. on this day...
Was wandering around the Santa Clara University campus again today and ran into St. Ignatius. He tried to show me something in his book, but I just wasn't in the mood to pay attention. I was more fun to climb up into his collar and play 'King of the Saint'. This lawn is really out of control...John was supposed to mow it tonight after work, but he was so zonked from this weekend that he just crashed on the couch for a couple of hours when he got home. Slacker! Wanted to take advantage of Oregon's lack of sales tax, and spent a big chunk of the day shopping for an engagement ring!

07/19/2006 - Colorado!!! That's where we ended up. We decided to do a little hiking; here I am taking a break from hiking Milner Pass, on the Atlantic side of the continental divide. You do know what the continental divide is, don't you? You don't? Well allow me to lay down some knowledge on you:

A continental divide is a line of elevated terrain which forms a border between two watersheds such that water falling on one side of the line eventually travels to one ocean or body of water, and water on the other side travels to another, generally on the opposite side of the continent.

Now you know. And knowing is half the battle!
